OBJECTIVES | |||

Grant Objective: To increase gypsy women's empowerment by expanding knowledge of their rights and opportunities to exercise their rights in the workplace, community, and at home. Specific Objectives: • Mobilize 500 gypsy home based workers, specifically craftswomen and artisans, for the formation 5 community groups as per their trade in Lahore, Pakistan. • Enhance the existing skills of 100 gypsy women and make their products market-competitive (with input from an additional GEP partner working on product design and development). • Establish the Gypsy Women Trade Facilitation & Communication Centers (GWTFCC) at the district level to act as a marketing/sales/communication point for the gypsy home based workers in Lahore, Pakistan. |
