AIDS Awareness Society (AAS), a non government, non-profit and secular organization, formed 1993, as AIDS Awareness Group (AAG) and registered under the Societies Act XXI, 1860 in December 2001 as AIDS Awareness Society (AAS), by a highly committed professionals, to devote all their efforts towards the prevention and control of HIV/AIDS, improvement of reproductive health and rights, empowerment and advocacy for the rights of marginalized groups of the society through by adopting participatory approaches, tools and strategies, with the philosophy of empowerment of people to struggle for their rights.
Socio Economic Empowerment of Gypsy women is an initiative to empower them with knowledge and skills to improve and promote their gypsy home based products to bring social change in tier lives and mainstream them to live respectable life in society.
